TBC Type

TBC (To Be Checked) types are the most flexible medication types in eMARx. They require dosage calendars to be completed, and the administration rounds are added by the user. This flexibility allows you to include both a normal round and a PRN (as needed) round for the same medication if necessary. Occasionally, the pharmacy may send a medication as TBC to allow the home to decide when it is administered. If the dosage and take time remain consistent each day, you can change the medication type from TBC to a more appropriate type that better fits the medication schedule before it’s checked in (Still a red tile)
