Editing Stop Date and Pausing Medications

If a medication has administration records for the current cycle, you cannot flag it as deleted. Instead, you need to edit the stop date. To pause a medication due to interactions with a temporary medication, click on the edit stop date button and select “Set Resume Date.” This allows you to enter the round and date when the medication should resume. After adding a comment, verify and save your changes. While the medication is suspended, the MAR chart will indicate that the medication was suspended during this period, similar to how eMARx handles automatic entries for residents who are in the hospital or away on social leave.
