Editing the TMAR
Editing the TMAR in eMAR Connect
If you make an error during medication administration—such as applying cream to a different area or administering a medication that was initially marked as refused—you can correct this in the TMAR.
To edit the TMAR:

Return to the relevant resident and select the round you wish to edit.

Locate the grey medication tile that needs editing.

Select the icon resembling a medication bottle on the tile. This will display the administration history.

Press the Edit Medication History button.
The administration window will reopen. If the medication includes a body map, it will be visible and fully interactive, just like during the original administration.
However, when editing:

You must enter a Take Time.

You must also provide a supporting comment explaining why you’re editing the TMAR (e.g., “Applied later than recorded”, or “Incorrect body area selected”).
Once complete, press Save to update the record.
